In addition, the special compact design does completely assure the quality of water-proof protection. This proof is guaranteed even if it is installed under water in a long time. Moreover, the core engineering concept of B97 VPW aims at cutting down the budget on overall operating costs from remote meter readings. It also helps utility enhance its cash flow by collection of none-revenue-water (NRW).

    • The Solution for Addressing NRW

      B97 VPW provide an all-in-one smart water meter solution, it offers up to R400 measuring range ratio (Q3/Q1) which is far better than standard mechanical water meter, smaller water flow rate can be measured to help utility collect every drop of water without any waste. By adopting a ball valve B97 VPW is able to perform as a prepayment meter or remotely valve control meter, both approaches bring values to utility by significantly increment of water bill collection.

    • Compact Design

      Integration design of measuring part and bass ball valve in one meter, easy for installation, communication, maintenance, and transportation. B97 VPW can be installed either in horizontal or vertical direction by no loss of measuring accuracy. Water utility can choose IC card prepayment function, or remotely valve control for those who refuse to make water bill payment on time.

    • Durable Service Period

      B97 VPW presents either IP65 or IP68, and its body is fabricated from durable Brass 59-1 material. This robust design makes the B97 VPW maintenance-free and highly precise with extraordinary, durable service period, which could be upto 16 years.

    • AMR Ready (wired & wireless)

      B97 VPW support multiple communication interfaces for both wired and wireless which suitable for any type of installation environment, e.g. M-Bus, RS485,
      LoRaWAN (EU433, IN865, EU868, US915, KR920, AS923, etc.), NB-IoT, Sigfox, etc. These interfaces support bidirectional communication both for meter data reading and valve control.

      With communication interfaces meter is easily integrated into Automatic Meter Reading (AMR), which provide reliable and scalable network to
      utility and bring down the meter reading cost for any application.

    • Water Proof, suitable for indoor and outdoor application

      B97 VPW is designed with special material enclosure to sustain durable installation in rain, high humidity surroundings, and direct ultraviolet rays from the sun. No meter enclosure deformation in high temperature and high humidity by state of the art design of IP68 protection class of the B97 VPW water meter.
